Graduation Projects Exhibition Held at CIU

At the Graduation Projects Presentation Event organized by the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Cyprus International University (CIU), students shared the projects they had developed throughout the semester through academic poster presentations.

In a statement regarding the event, Prof. Dr. Harun Şeşen, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, emphasized that graduation projects serve as an important platform for connecting students’ theoretical knowledge with real-world problems. He explained that students addressed current challenges faced by real companies, international relations, or economic sectors and then developed solutions based on their respective academic disciplines.

Şeşen noted that the projects, prepared under the supervision of faculty members, were supported by detailed reports and presented in a poster format during the event. He added that while similar projects had been completed within the faculty in previous years, this was the first time they had been showcased collectively through a poster presentation event. According to Şeşen, the initiative was met with considerable interest from students.

Highlighting one of the primary objectives of the event, Şeşen stated that it aimed to help students transform the theoretical knowledge they had acquired over the years into practical applications. He also emphasized the goal of creating an interactive learning environment. In addition to presenting their own work, students had the opportunity to examine other projects, allowing them to learn from one another and develop broader perspectives.

Şeşen further pointed out that poster presentations contributed to the development of students’ presentation and communication skills, stressing that effectively conveying the outcomes of their projects was itself an important achievement.

Throughout the event, students from various disciplines had the opportunity to present their projects to academics and participants. The interactive atmosphere contributed to both their academic and professional development. With strong participation, the event stood out as a productive academic platform that showcased students’ creativity, productivity, and solution-oriented approaches.
