Campus Masterplan
Since 2017, CIU has been working with ARUP on a masterplan for transforming the CIU campus. ARUP is a world-renowned engineering, urban design and architectural company, responsible for such iconic projects like the Sydney Opera House, The Bird’s Nest Stadium in Beijing, and Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.
2020 Awards
The CIU Campus Masterplan has been awarded first place Urban Design (Built) category of the Architecture, Construction and Design Awards in 2020.
The 'Architecture, Construction and Design Awards' is an evaluation organization that lists the most outstanding examples in the fields of architecture, construction and design, and gives awards in more than 60 categories, which gives participants the chance to be among the world trends. The competition also aims to pass on the projects of innovative and perfectionist companies to future generations, that manage to cope with global contemporary challenges. 2021 Awards
The CIU Campus Masterplan has been shortlisted as one of the 4 best projects among many worldwide projects and then won the first place in the "Best Cultural and Sports Infrastructure" category of the "MIPIM 2021" awards, organized by MIPIM, who evaluates world investments in different sectors.
