CIU Hosted an Academic Delegation from Romania
Cyprus International University (CIU) held academic cooperation meetings with the University of Life Sciences “King Mihai I” from Timișoara, Romania.
Within this scope, an academic delegation led by Prof. Ioan Pet, Dean of the Faculty of Bioengineering and Veterinary Medicine at the University of Life Sciences “King Mihai I” from Timișoara, visited the CIU campus and met with CIU Rector Prof. Dr. Erbuğ Çelebi.
During the visit, the delegation toured the Chromatography, Instrumentation, Biomedical, Molecular Biology, and Cell Culture laboratories located in the Science and Technology Building at CIU. In the meetings, potential areas of cooperation were discussed, including student and academic staff exchange programs and joint research projects between the two universities. Prof. Ioan Pet expressed his satisfaction with CIU’s infrastructure and the academic work carried out at the university.
Rector Prof. Dr. Erbuğ Çelebi stated that they were pleased to host the delegation from the University of Life Sciences “King Mihai I” from Timișoara at CIU and emphasized the importance of inter-university collaborations in the fields of education and research.
