About the Graduation Ceremony
2024-2025 Academic Year Spring Semester Graduation Ceremony
The 2024-2025 Spring Semester Graduation Ceremony of Cyprus International University will be held on June 18, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the CIU Performing Arts Center (Amphitheater).
The ceremony will commence with the opening speeches of the hosts, followed by a moment of silence and the Turkish National Anthem performed by the International Choir. The program will continue with speeches by our students on behalf of the graduates, official protocol speeches, and the presentation of graduation certificates to the graduates.

Graduation Yearbook Photo Shoot
In order to have your photograph with your gown in our yearbook, you need to have your photograph taken (12-18 June 2025 09:00-16:30) at the Education and Institute of Graduate Studies and Research Building in class GE141.
Note: Students who do not have their photos taken will not be included in the yearbook.
Gown Rental
2024-2025 Spring semester graduates and 2024-2025 Summer semester graduate candidates will be able to attend the Graduation Ceremony.
It is mandatory to fill in the "Alumni Satisfaction Survey" via CIU-SIS before taking your gown.
Registration for the graduation ceremony will be carried out simultaneously with the gown distribution. Students who already have a gown must also complete their graduation ceremony registration at the gown distribution point. Registration must be completed by June 18, 2025.
Wearing the full graduation attire (cap, gown, and stole) is mandatory for all students attending the graduation ceremony.
Graduating students can collect their cap and gown between June 12–18, 2025, from 09:00 to 16:30, in Room GE140 of the Faculty of Education and the Institute of Graduate Studies and Research building, by presenting a deposit receipt of 2200 TL (Novabank Gown Account: Account No: 700000391 or IBAN: CT721310911100000000700000391).
The receipt must include the student's full name and student number.

Graduating students who return their cap and gown between June 19–25, 2025, between 09:00 and 16:30 to Room GE140 will receive a refund of 1700 TL from the deposit paid.
Attention: Registrations completed after June 17, 2025, mean that your name will appear on the final list, and you will have to proceed separately from your department and faculty/school during the ceremony.
Before the Graduation Ceremony
Students who will attend the ceremony must click on this link before arriving at the venue to find out the name of their group leader, their badge number, and the entrance gate.
The first letter on the badge indicates the seating block, the number following the letter indicates the row, and the number after the divider shows the specific seat. The final letter at the end of the badge number indicates the stage point from which the graduation certificate will be received.
All students must be present at the ceremony area by 16:00. Upon arrival, students should first locate their designated entrance gate. Your group leader will be waiting for you there, holding a sign. You must collect your badge from your group leader and attach it to the left side of your gown. Your group leader will guide you through what to do during the ceremony.
